Ag In The Classroom Committee

The Mercer County Farm Bureau Ag in the Classroom committee provides monthly presentations to every second grade classroom in the Sherrard and Mercer County School Districts.

The Ag in the Classroom committee provides presentations on the following subjects:

• Corn/Soybeans
• Beef
• Pork
• General Agriculture
• Dairy
• Poultry
• Cranberries
• Many more!!!

The committee chooses the programs that they give!!!

The Mercer County Farm Bureau Ag in the Classroom Committee is also responsible for putting together ACE (Agriculture, Conserviation, and Environment) Camp. The camp brings every second grader in Mercer County to the Mercer County Fairgrounds every May. The students rotate through stations that teach them about agriculture, conservation, and the environment. ACE Camp is always the highlight of the school year!
