Market Outlook featuring Chip Nellinger, Blue Reef Agri-Marketing

Chip Nellinger, Blue Reef Agri-Marketing, will be the featured speaker on Tuesday, September 13 at 6:15 p.m. at Lavender Crest Winery, 5401 US Highway 6, Colona.  Dinner will be served followed by the local grain market update from Tom Parchert of Big River Resources.  Reservations are required and must made by September 6 to guarantee your attendance. 

Chip Nellinger draws on 25 years of experience in the markets and helping farmers manage risk.  Chip has held a Series 3 Commodity Broker license for the past 22 years with previous experience including having worked for 4 years on the floor of the Chicago Board of Trade for two exchange members in assisting large international grain accounts implement hedging strategies.  Chip’s experience growing up on the family farm in Bureau County, IL provides a strong foundation in understanding the challenges of today’s farming operation and that continues today with his involvement in marketing decisions as a land owner himself.

Chip serves as a commodity analyst on U.S. Farm Report, Ag Day, RFDTV’s Market Day Report as well as on radio with WILL, WNAX and Rural Radio Sirius 147.  Nellinger holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Economics from Northern Illinois University.  Chip and his wife Jennifer have three sons and reside in Dunlap, IL.
