Mercer County Farm Bureau Manager
The Mercer County Farm Bureau, located in Aledo, IL, is seeking to fill its full-time County Manager position.
Responsibilities of this position include: membership acquisition and maintenance, office management, including personnel administration and fiscal responsibilities, meeting facilitator, and program planner. This position will work with volunteer leaders to facilitate the objectives and programs of the organization as determined by the board of directors.
Qualifications of this position include strong leadership and organizational skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong computer skills, and an understanding of agricultural industry issues. Physical requirements include the ability to organize and set up meeting rooms, move AV equipment, and some other light lifting. A Bachelor of Science degree in agriculture or business is preferred. The successful applicant will be required to reside in close proximity to Mercer County.
